Job Description

RFA Engineering ( www.rfamec.com ) supports industry-leading clients through the full software development lifecycle to build cutting-edge precision agriculture, machine guidance, vehicle automation and autonomy applications. We are seeking passionate, talented engineers to work on exciting projects using the latest tools and technologies including robotics, computer-vision, machine learning, IoT, cloud computing, and much more. Collaborate with a team of industry experts onsite at our client's world-class engineering center and contribute to developing innovative solutions that drive sustainable agriculture practices. Software Delivery Coordinator As a Software Delivery Coordinator, you will support software and product delivery across a portfolio of technology and product development initiatives. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage release activities, establish priorities, and ensure required deliverables are aligned to product launch schedules. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with technical teams, and able to take information from multiple sources and turn it into clear plans, schedules, and actions. Responsibilities Coordinate delivery activities across multiple software, engineering, product, and technology teams. Drive alignment across engineering, product, program, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support successful product and software releases. Collect information from contributors to identify required release artifacts, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring all components are complete and work together as intended. Develop and maintain release management artifacts, including configuration files, release documentation, software payloads, and compatibility information. Coordinate and facilitate meetings related to delivery schedules, release planning, change management, design reviews, defect reviews, and release reviews. Collect key information from feature teams and project managers to develop schedules and track progress toward critical launch dates. Work with project and delivery managers to develop and maintain macro-level project schedules. Partner with product owners and technical leaders to establish feature and defect priorities for upcoming releases and ensure deliverables remain aligned with the overall timeline. Maintain software compatibility information and release packages to support product launches. Develop and maintain project tracking and support tools to improve visibility into delivery status, dependencies, and risks. Communicate release and schedule information to stakeholders to support product launch activities. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, tools, and workflows for managing software and product deliveries. Coordinate and facilitate company or organizational meetings as needed. Proactively identify schedule risks, gaps, dependencies, and communication issues and drive them toward resolution. Requirements Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, business, project management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience coordinating projects, programs, software releases, engineering activities, or other cross-functional initiatives. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to gather information from multiple teams and translate it into clear schedules, action items, priorities, and deliverables. Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding software development and release processes. Basic ability to work with structured data and configuration files such as JSON. Experience with project tracking, collaboration, or document management tools. Ability to proactively identify issues and drive follow-up without requiring extensive direction.4 Preferred Qualifications and Attributes Highly proactive with a strong sense of ownership and urgency. High-agency individual who takes initiative and drives tasks through completion. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain alignment across multiple teams. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with engineering, product, program, marketing, and leadership teams. Able to manage a large number of information sources, dependencies, and project endpoints while maintaining a clear view of overall delivery status. Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset. Ability to understand existing tools and processes and identify ways to make them more efficient. Comfortable facilitating discussions, documenting decisions, and holding teams accountable to commitments. Experience working in an Agile software development or product development environment is desired. Experience with software release management, product launches, or technology-driven product development is a plus. Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
Pay Range:
$60,000-$100,000 - Commensurate with experience About RFA Engineering RFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943. Our primary focus is the development of off highway equipment including agricultural, construction, mining, recreational, industrial, and special machines. Our work includes concept development, product design, documentation, problem-solving, simulation, optimization, and testing of components, systems and complete machines. Our engineering staff is located at our Engineering Center in Minneapolis, branch office in Dubuque, IA, and at numerous customer sites throughout the U.S.
