Warehouse Site Manager Romulus, MI Compensation:

Early First Shift A well-established organization within the logistics and supply chain industry is seeking an experienced Warehouse Site Manager to lead daily operations at a fast-paced distribution facility. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the overall performance of the site, including warehouse operations, team leadership, safety, customer relationships, staffing, productivity, and financial performance . The Opportunity The Warehouse Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation and lead the onsite warehouse team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the operation consistently meets expectations for safety, service, productivity, and profitability. We are seeking a leader with at least 3 years of progressive warehouse, distribution, transportation, logistics, or industrial management experience who is comfortable taking ownership of an operation and developing a strong frontline team. Key Responsibilities Lead daily site operations with safety, service, and efficiency as top priorities Manage, coach, and develop warehouse associates Communicate expectations regarding productivity, service levels, accountability, attendance, and performance Schedule associates based on workload and customer requirements Interview, hire, onboard, and train new team members Monitor individual and team performance and address concerns as needed Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards Conduct regular safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the onsite customer Ensure customer expectations and service requirements are consistently achieved Document and resolve customer service and associate concerns Maintain accurate daily operational logs and reporting Review and audit labor, billing, payroll, and operational data Ensure timely and accurate data entry for services performed Complete required daily operational and administrative closeout processes Assist with site and departmental budget management Review financial performance and identify opportunities to improve operational results Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase productivity and efficiency Qualifications 3+ years of management and leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, transportation, logistics, or an industrial environment Proven experience supervising frontline warehouse employees Experience with hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development Strong leadership and team-building skills Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced, changing warehouse environment Strong organizational and prioritization skills Ability to effectively manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Experience managing budgets and interpreting P&L statements Strong customer service and relationship-management skills Intermediate proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Flexibility with work schedules based on operational needs, including occasional weekends and holidays 3PL, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or distribution center experience is strongly preferred. A bachelor's or associate degree is a plus; however, equivalent relevant leadership experience will be considered. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work in an active warehouse environment, including concrete flooring and varying temperatures Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment as needed Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
