In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire supply chain process within the warehouse, ensuring seamless coordination between inventory management, logistics, transportation, and distribution activities. Your leadership will drive process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial skills, extensive experience in warehouse supervision, and a deep understanding of supply chain management systems. Duties Lead and supervise warehouse teams to ensure efficient daily operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and materials management. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste across distribution operations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards for warehouse safety protocols; conduct regular audits and inspections. Foster team management through effective managerial communication, supervising staff development programs, and promoting a positive work environment focused on continuous improvement. Coordinate with procurement teams to optimize procurement processes and ensure timely availability of materials for production needs. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse supervision with a strong background in distribution operations and logistics management. Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean methodologies or similar continuous improvement frameworks. Strong understanding of inventory management techniques such as demand planning, inventory control, and procurement strategies. Skilled in supervising teams effectively through managerial communication and team management practices; previous supervisory experience required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in shipping & receiving, inventory control, and distribution activities.
