About Home Place Pastures Home Place Pastures is a vertically integrated, mission-driven meat company based in Como, Mississippi. We raise, process, market, and distribute high-quality pasture-raised meats while working to build a better food system for farmers, animals, our community, and our customers. Position Overview The Inventory & Fulfillment Manager is responsible for ensuring Home Place Pastures has the products and supplies we need, when we need them, in the appropriate quantities. This position manages inventory across the facility, including finished products, packaging materials, labels, ingredients, shipping supplies, sanitation supplies, and other operational materials. Equally important, the position also oversees our fulfillment team, DTC order fulfillment, and wholesale order fulfillment. This role is critical to uphold our fulfillment center mission statement: "We deliver the right product in the right condition to the right customer at the right time!" Key Responsibilities Own inventory management and accuracy across the facility. Oversee DTC and wholesale picking, packing, and shipping. Lead, schedule, train, and hold accountable fulfillment employees. Learn facility's production and inventory software. Manage ~3 warehouse associates. Maintain appropriate inventory levels for finished products, packaging, labels, ingredients, boxes, shipping materials, sanitation supplies, and other operational supplies. Establish reorder points and purchasing schedules to prevent shortages while avoiding unnecessary overstock. Coordinate purchasing and replenishment of facility supplies with approved vendors. Coordinate and manage local delivery route with company van: schedule routes, manage driver, manage vehicle maintenance schedule Manage receiving and ensure incoming products and supplies are accurately counted, recorded, and stored. Maintain organized freezer, cooler, warehouse, packaging, and supply-storage areas. Implement regular cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Monitor inventory usage, aging, shrink, and unusual variances. Communicate upcoming shortages and inventory needs to production, operations, sales, and leadership. Maintain accurate inventory records and provide regular inventory reporting. Manage product rotation, lot tracking, and

practices where applicable. Develop and improve SOPs for receiving, inventory management, storage, fulfillment, and shipping. Continuously improve inventory accuracy, organization, efficiency, and accountability. Qualifications Experience in inventory management, personnel management, warehouse operations, purchasing, fulfillment, manufacturing, food production, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working with inventory systems, spreadsheets, and operational data. Experience/ aptitude in leading a team. Ability to establish systems and hold others accountable to them. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Comfortable working in a hands-on operating environment, including refrigerated and freezer areas. Experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, cold storage, distribution, or e-commerce fulfillment is preferred but not required. What Success Looks Like The right person will be excited to use their skills to grow our mission to produce top quality protein from Pasture to Package right here in Como, MS. He or she will create a disciplined inventory system where we know what we have, know where it is, know what we are using, and know what we need to order before we run out. Success will be measured through inventory accuracy, reduction in stockouts and emergency purchases, appropriate inventory levels, organized storage areas, fulfillment accuracy, picking and packing efficiency, and on-time shipping/ order fulfillment.

Schedule:

Mon-Friday, 7:30am to 5pm, with an hour lunch break Compensation $65,000 annual salary. Full-time, on-site position in Como, Mississippi. Home Place Pastures is an equal opportunity employer.
