Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality plumbing and gas fitting solutions that meet industry standards and client expectations. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of warehouse distribution, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, promoting teamwork, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems to track stock levels accurately and optimize storage solutions. Coordinate logistics operations by working closely with transportation providers and internal teams to streamline distribution center processes. Operate or supervise the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely and efficiently. Enforce OSHA regulations and safety standards to create a secure environment for all team members while conducting regular safety audits. Drive process improvement projects using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall warehouse productivity. Experience Proven experience managing warehouse operations within a distribution center or similar environment with a strong understanding of logistics processes. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or managerial experience managing teams in fast-paced settings. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, heavy lifting gear, and RF scanners. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and communication purposes. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse operations. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively, coordinate tasks efficiently, and manage managerial communication across departments. Experience implementing process improvements using lean management techniques to optimize distribution center operations.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
