JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of warehouse, inventory, receiving, storage, and distribution activities at the assigned site. This position ensures materials, supplies, equipment, and other assets are received, stored, tracked, and distributed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe, organized, and secure warehouse environment. The Warehouse Manager provides leadership and oversight for warehouse personnel, inventory control, material handling, receiving and shipping activities, equipment, and warehouse processes. This position will coordinate closely with other operational departments to ensure materials and supplies are available when needed to support ongoing site operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, and distribution.
- Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel and ensure appropriate staffing based on operational needs.
- Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and deliveries.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other applicable documentation.
- Ensure materials and supplies are properly labeled, stored, organized, and protected from damage or loss.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain organized warehouse layouts and storage locations to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate the distribution and transfer of materials, supplies, and equipment to appropriate departments or locations.
- Manage inventory levels and communicate potential shortages, excess inventory, or critical supply needs to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventories and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain warehouse procedures for receiving, storage, material handling, inventory control, and distribution.
- Maintain appropriate controls for high-value, sensitive, or controlled equipment and materials.
- Monitor warehouse equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, or replacement as necessary.
- Ensure forklifts, pallet jacks, material-handling equipment, and other warehouse equipment are operated safely and appropriately.
- Maintain warehouse areas in a clean, safe, secure, and organized condition.
- Ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed for material handling, storage, loading, unloading, and warehouse activities.
- Coordinate with all Manager in Procurement, Maintenance, Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Safety and Security regarding material and supply needs.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, carriers, and delivery personnel regarding shipments and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, receiving, distribution, equipment, and other warehouse activities with direct accountability for record accuracy, completeness, and timely reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Monitor warehouse supplies, equipment, and operational expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
- Identify damaged, obsolete, or excess inventory and coordinate appropriate disposition in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, organization, productivity, and material flow.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
STANDARD REQUIREMENTS

- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, storage, distribution, and material-handling practices.
- Ability to effectively lead, schedule, and coordinate warehouse personnel in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with vendors, suppliers, carriers, contractors, and internal departments.
- Ability to organize warehouse space and establish efficient material storage and movement processes.
- Ability to maintain accurate receiving records, inventory documentation, equipment records, and other operational information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with inventory, warehouse management, or enterprise resource planning systems.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with other departments and operational teams.
- Ability to adapt warehouse priorities based on changing inventory, delivery schedules, and operational requirements.
- Ability to work extended or non-traditional hours when necessary to support deliveries, inventory activities, or other operational needs.
- Attention to the importance of Safety in all operations and implement appropriate risk mitigation actions.
- Strong Leadership skills to motivate and guide the team. Ability to manage conflict within the team and handle disagreements in a professional manner that develops trust and delivers results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, distribution, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment required.
- Experience managing receiving, inventory control, storage, material handling, and distribution activities required.
- Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Experience conducting physical inventories, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation preferred.
- Experience managing warehouse equipment, supplies, vendors, carriers, and delivery coordination preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification within an established timeframe.
- Experience supporting a large-scale, high-volume, industrial, construction, or project-based operation preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant professional experience may be considered.
LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to provide clear direction, training, coaching, and performance feedback to warehouse personnel.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with department managers regarding material, supply, and equipment requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities, deliveries, and operational requirements may change quickly.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is beneficial but not required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is based on-site in Haskell, Texas and operates primarily within warehouse, storage, loading and receiving, office, and general operational environments. The Warehouse Manager will regularly move throughout warehouse and storage areas to oversee receiving and distribution activities, inspect inventory, supervise personnel, and monitor warehouse operations. The position requires frequent standing and walking and may involve bending, reaching, lifting, climbing, and working around forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles, material-handling equipment, and stored materials. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, temperature variations, and outdoor weather conditions while supporting receiving, loading, unloading, or other warehouse activities. Appropriate personal protective equipment may be required depending on the work area or activity. Due to the nature of warehouse operations, the employee must be able to adapt to changing delivery schedules and operational needs and may occasionally be required to work outside of normal business hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
