Position Overview The Operations Manager owns every aspect of operations for the Birmingham branch. This leader is responsible for warehouse operations, field execution, logistics, staffing, safety, equipment readiness, and developing high-performing leaders. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role. Qualifications 5+ years leading operations or logistics teams. Proven leadership experience. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Valid driver's license and ability to lift event equipment. Leadership Responsibilities Set the SOHO standard with attendance, attitude, and productivity Lead all warehouse employees, drivers, installers, and supervisors. Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and develop team members. Conduct daily morning pre-shift huddles. Hold employees accountable through coaching and performance reviews. Create training plans and leadership development for supervisors. Foster a professional, team-first culture. Operational Responsibilities Scheduling, staffing, and labor planning. Coordinate daily with Sales on REOs, layouts, delivery windows, etc. Attend weekly production meetings. Visit job sites for quality control and customer satisfaction. Handle after-hours operational issues and client concerns. Jump into deliveries, pickups, warehouse work, or installations when needed. Maintain fleet, equipment, inventory, and warehouse organization. Improve SOPs and operational efficiency. Utilize Point of Rental Software and Connecteam Platform This role leads by example, communicates professionally, develops people, embraces accountability, and is willing to roll up your sleeves.
