Approximately $50,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience About the Position Green Tee Golf, Inc. specializes in golf course construction and renovation. We are seeking an organized, dependable Logistics Manager to coordinate equipment transportation, support our project teams, and maintain accurate transportation and compliance records. Based at our main office in Augusta, this position will work closely with company leadership, project managers, our equipment manager, drivers, and transportation providers. The goal is to get the right equipment to the right project safely, efficiently, and on time. This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who can plan ahead, communicate clearly, and take ownership of daily logistics across multiple construction projects. Key Responsibilities Coordinate equipment transportation. Schedule the movement of machinery, vehicles, trailers, and supplies between project sites, the shop, and other locations. Confirm pickup and delivery details with drivers and project teams. Maintain equipment and transportation schedules. Track equipment locations, upcoming needs, and availability. Work with project managers and the equipment manager to resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans when priorities change. Coordinate drivers and outside carriers. Communicate assignments, obtain transportation quotes, confirm arrangements, and follow up to ensure moves are completed as planned. Manage transportation records and compliance tracking. Maintain organized records for driver qualifications, vehicle registrations, permits, inspections, and maintenance documentation. Track deadlines and coordinate follow-through on DOT compliance requirements. Support IFTA reporting. Collect and review mileage and fuel records, resolve missing information, and prepare or coordinate accurate International Fuel Tax Agreement reporting. Monitor costs and resolve problems. Review transportation expenses and invoices, identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary trips or delays, and coordinate alternatives when equipment, trucks, or schedules change. Keep the team informed. Provide clear updates on scheduled moves, equipment availability, delivery changes, and outstanding issues. Maintain reliable records using spreadsheets, email, and company tracking systems. Qualifications Previous experience in logistics, transportation coordination, dispatch, fleet administration, or a related role. Experience coordinating construction equipment or heavy-haul transportation is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of DOT compliance and IFTA reporting, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage deadlines. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to balance requests from multiple project teams. Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and digital scheduling or tracking systems. A Class A CDL, relevant logistics certifications, or military transportation/logistics experience would be helpful. Working Environment This position is based at our Augusta main office and involves regular communication with active construction projects. Occasional travel to project sites, the shop, or other company locations may be needed.
