Job Description
```Job Overview``` We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of parts and supplies for our organization. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. ```Responsibilities```
- Manage the order management system to track and process parts orders
- Develop and maintain effective supply chain management strategies
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Oversee the inventory management process, including conducting regular audits and reconciliations
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast parts needs and maintain appropriate stock levels
- Handle customer inquiries regarding parts availability and pricing
- Implement and maintain a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking parts usage and maintenance schedules
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards
- Provide guidance and support to the team of parts associates ```Experience``` To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Familiarity with procurement management processes, including negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions regarding inventory levels
- Experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing parts
- Knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and their specifications
