The HT Group is partnering with an aftermarket automotive parts e-commerce organization seeking an experienced Director of Logistics & Freight to lead and optimize its transportation and freight strategy across a multi-site operation. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who combines strong parcel and freight expertise with a highly analytical, data-driven approach. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating carrier performance, negotiating agreements, analyzing shipping data, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels while reducing transportation costs across 8+ different locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead parcel and freight strategy across multiple locations Analyze shipping data, spend, service levels, and carrier performance Manage carrier relationships, negotiations, contracts, and RFP processes Identify cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities Develop and track logistics KPIs and performance metrics Partner cross-functionally to improve transportation and distribution processes Use data and analytics to support strategic logistics decisions Drive continuous improvement and scalability across the freight network

Ideal Background:
