Description Senior Manager NE Region for Henkel US Ops in West Hazleton, PA to manage a large network reconfiguration and project team restructuring; manage, identify, and meet business requirements at a tactical level related to third-party logistics; execute relevant processes through the implementation tools and ensure effective warehouse distribution management; improve all relevant operational processes through the adherence to standards requirements and evaluate cost efficient operational tools; steer warehouse capacity planning to meet demands, ensure short and long-term forecasting and planning for distribution requirements, and analyze orders to mitigate risks; oversee third-party logistics relationships and ensure global compliance of quality, safety and sustainability reporting; align service level agreements with customer centric-service strategy; perform cost management, corrective invoice processing, physical inventory checks, and identify variances; implement improvement opportunities and reduce risks in storage and handling costs across all areas; optimize order cycle and flow of products and meet demand plans; act as primary interface between Henkel US and third-party logistics for day-to-day and tactical planning; partner with internal customer service teams to develop collaborative customer centric solutions that optimize order execution and logistics activities; drive performance management culture, including key performance indicators and key success factors for warehouse operations; and implement corrective action and preventative action cycles to address areas of sub-optimal performance; manage in-bound and out-bound flow; execute cycle and inventory counts; perform safety walk-arounds; develop cost to serve reports; develop customer service reports; execute cost chase projects; manage logistics and warehouse flow optimization; and develop SHE reports.
Requires:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience in warehouse management. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Managing warehouse requirements using
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS
18001 and
ISO 50001
; Creating and implementing WMS functionality and slotting strategy processing for optimal inventory practices; Overseeing third-party logistics relationships and conducting global compliance of quality, safety and sustainability reporting; Developing and implementing corrective action and preventative action cycles to address areas of sub-optimal performance; Developing, monitoring and reconciling warehouse budget and reports; Identifying and implementing project cost-savings and continuous improvement opportunities; Developing and monitoring KPIs for warehouse, including inventory, shipping performance, and sustainability; and Designing processes to maintain a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety inspections.
