Full-Time About OnPoint Logistics OnPoint Logistics LLC is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) operating out of the DRK3 Delivery Station in Belton, Texas . Our team is responsible for delivering Amazon packages safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining high standards for customer service, safety, and operational performance. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day delivery operations, manage our leadership and driver teams, and ensure OnPoint consistently meets or exceeds Amazon DSP performance expectations. Position Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall daily performance of OnPoint Logistics' delivery operation at DRK3. This is a highly hands-on leadership position. The Operations Manager will oversee dispatch operations, Delivery Associates, scheduling, fleet readiness, safety, attendance, route execution, and performance management. The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, comfortable managing a fast-paced operation, and able to quickly identify and resolve issues before they impact service. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Oversee daily delivery operations from loadout through completion of the final route. Ensure routes are staffed appropriately and vehicles are ready for dispatch. Lead or supervise morning startup, loadout, dispatch, rescues, and end-of-day operations. Monitor routes throughout the day and proactively address delays, call-outs, vehicle issues, and other operational challenges. Ensure all routes are completed safely and efficiently. Develop contingency plans for call-outs, route increases, vehicle downtime, and unexpected operational issues. Team Leadership Lead, coach, and hold accountable dispatchers, supervisors, and Delivery Associates. Establish clear expectations for attendance, safety, productivity, professionalism, and customer service. Conduct performance conversations and corrective action when necessary. Work with leadership to identify high-performing employees and develop future leads and supervisors. Maintain a positive but accountable work environment. Help recruit, onboard, train, and retain Delivery Associates as operational needs change. Amazon DSP Performance Monitor and improve key Amazon DSP performance metrics and scorecard results. Review operational performance daily and identify trends requiring corrective action. Drive improvements in safety, delivery quality, customer experience, route completion, and productivity. Ensure OnPoint follows Amazon DSP operating procedures and station requirements. Communicate professionally with Amazon station leadership and resolve operational issues quickly. Scheduling & Staffing Build and manage weekly staffing plans based on projected route volume. Maintain sufficient staffing to account for attendance issues and fluctuations in route volume. Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, call-outs, and overtime. Ensure staffing levels support operational needs while controlling unnecessary labor costs. Fleet Management Maintain visibility into the condition and availability of the company's delivery fleet. Ensure vehicles are inspected and operationally ready each day. Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, rentals, and replacement vehicles when necessary. Ensure vehicle damage and safety concerns are documented and addressed promptly. Minimize vehicle downtime and prevent fleet issues from affecting route completion. Safety & Compliance Maintain a strong safety culture throughout the operation. Ensure Delivery Associates comply with company and Amazon safety policies. Review accidents, injuries, vehicle incidents, and safety violations. Conduct coaching and corrective action following safety incidents when appropriate. Ensure required documentation and operational records are completed accurately. What We're Looking For Previous operations management experience required. Experience managing a workforce in transportation, logistics, last-mile delivery, warehouse operations, or a similar high-volume environment strongly preferred. Previous Amazon DSP management experience is highly preferred. Strong leadership and employee management skills. Ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Comfortable working with operational metrics, scorecards, and performance data. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable holding employees and supervisors accountable for performance. Working knowledge of scheduling, labor management, fleet operations, and safety procedures. Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and operational management systems. Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable company requirements. Schedule This is a full-time operations leadership position. Candidates must have flexibility to work based on business needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and peak delivery periods . Amazon delivery operations run seven days a week, and the Operations Manager must be available to support the operation when needed.
