About the Role As a Parts Manager , you will oversee the daily operations of a dealership Parts Department while working closely with Service, Collision, Sales, and dealership leadership. The ideal candidate understands automotive parts operations, knows how to lead a team, and is focused on maintaining an efficient, organized, and profitable department. Responsibilities Oversee daily Parts Department operations and workflow Lead, coach, and develop Parts Department employees Manage parts inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution Work closely with Service and Collision Departments to ensure parts are available when needed Monitor inventory levels, purchasing, special orders, and returns Maintain accurate inventory records and department processes Monitor department performance, expenses, and profitability Build strong relationships with vendors and dealership departments Ensure manufacturer and dealership procedures are followed Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service, and department performance
COMPENSATION

Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of automotive parts management experience preferred. Previous dealership experience required. Strong understanding of OEM parts operations and inventory management. Experience with dealership management systems (CDK preferred). Strong financial and analytical skills. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proven leadership and team development skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to analyze financial reports and departmental performance. Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills. Customer-focused with exceptional problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity and professionalism. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if applicable). Work in both warehouse and dealership environments. Work Environment This position works in both an office and warehouse setting and requires daily interaction with technicians, service advisors, sales staff, vendors, manufacturers, and customers.
