Job Description

Supply Chain Manager Skoflo Industries Inc. Woodinville, WA Job Details Full-time $120,000 - $160,000 a year 7 hours ago Benefits Health savings account Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Leading supply chain efficiency improvement projects Automation Tooling MRP Managing supply chain management teams Supply chain management solutions (enterprise solutions) Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description Supply Chain Manager SkoFlo Industries — Woodinville, WA (on-site) SkoFlo designs and manufactures precision flow control valves for the oil and gas industry — subsea and surface equipment engineered to do one job with total reliability, in environments where "close enough" isn't good enough. We're a small, privately held company in a genuinely niche corner of industrial manufacturing, and we're growing. We're not looking to become a big company that happens to make valves. We're looking to become a great small company — systems-driven, data-informed, and efficient enough that a lean team can operate at a scale most companies our size can't touch. That means investing in the tools (ERP, quality systems, and yes, practical automation) that let good people spend their time on judgment calls instead of paperwork. We'd rather keep good people for a long time than cycle through a lot of them. The Role We're hiring a Supply Chain Manager to own purchasing, planning, strategic sourcing, and inventory control — leading a 5-person team and reporting directly to the Director of Operations. This is a working leadership role: you'll set the strategy and lead the team, and you'll also be hands-on with supplier negotiations, MRP ownership, and the sourcing decisions that keep production moving. In year one, your top priority is resolving vendor risk across our supply base — identifying single-source exposure, delivery risk, and quality trends, and building qualified alternatives. You'll also lead your team's transition from experience-based buying habits into a fully MRP-driven operation inside our ERP system (Epicor Kinetic). What You'll Do Lead a team of buyers, planners, and inventory staff across our Subsea and Surface product lines Own MRP planning parameters and drive full ERP adoption — replacing manual habits with system-driven execution Identify and resolve vendor risk (single-sourcing, delivery performance, quality trends) through supplier qualification and negotiation Partner with Quality Engineering to get new suppliers aligned on documentation requirements before parts ever arrive Own inventory strategy — working closely with our Inventory Lead, who executes day-to-day logistics Analyze active SKU count across product categories to identify standardization opportunities Manage the department budget and report on supply chain performance What You Bring 5-7+ years in manufacturing purchasing, planning, or supply chain, including direct people management A track record of driving ERP/MRP adoption on a team — not just using a system, but changing how people work with it Real experience sourcing from machine shops and custom/engineered component suppliers — this isn't a catalog-buying role Comfort evaluating and adopting new operational tools, including automation, to help a small team work efficiently Supplier negotiation and qualification experience;
ISO 9001
environment experience preferred Ability to travel for in-person supplier qualification visits, negotiations, and vendor meetings Position is onsite in Woodinville, WA. Standard schedule, Monday-Friday Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $120,000-$160,000, depending on experience. Benefits include medical and dental insurance (including an HSA option with company contribution), a 401(k) plan with a 100% company match up to 4%, paid time off starting at hire, and paid holidays. Why This Role, Honestly We're telling you upfront: this is a small team doing real work in a niche industry, not a big-company title with a lot of layers underneath you. If you want to build something efficient, durable, and worth believing in — and you'd rather fix the actual system than work around it — we want to talk to you.
