We are now accepting applications for BC / assistant BC positions.
Note:
Although prior FedEx drivers/managers are preferred, we are accepting applications from anyone who has experience in management and/or has logistics experience. Requirements DRO knowledge is a MUST! Ground Cloud knowledge is a MUST! Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, addressing employee concerns and staff productivity Exhibit professionalism when leading and coaching the team Dispatching 15 to 20 routes daily. Employee time management including workforce planning, vacation, and time off Maintaining a fleet of vehicles including scheduling oil changes, frequent maintenance and repairs with outside vendors Knowledge of and Basic mechanical skills preferred Manage DRO and route planning Complete monthly maintenance logs Take calls from drivers needing assistance Schedule employees to maximize package count and ensure new Drivers get training routes. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather Make roster adjustments as needed; monitor HOS Facilitate ISP and Station communication during sort and dispatch Track and report missing packages or delayed routes Communicating standard work and safety tips throughout the day On-road support (tires, brakes, tows, winch out, outbound coordination) Rescue coordination and support Training new drivers and ride along for required skills observation DOT & safety compliance Resolve and submit all Station paperwork in a timely manner Attend station meetings Driving required in emergency situations (call ins, bad weather, recovery, support routes) Must be on call Investigate and resolve customer service issues, as needed Responsible for new employee training and orientation regarding job duties, performance expectations, compliance with policies, procedures and other training requirements. Displays flexibility and appropriate sense of urgency, while leading and engaging employees in a positive, professional manner Make your team feel valued and welcome through employee engagement
