We are committed to delivering compassionate care to our clients and helping them on their journey to recovery. We are seeking an additional dedicated and reliable Transportation Coordinator to join our team at TrueNorth Treatment Center. As a Transportation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and timely transportation for our clients to and from various appointments, treatment programs, and other essential activities. This position requires a compassionate individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to the well-being of others. This position would work Monday-Thursday from 7:30a-3:30p.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport clients to and from appointments, treatment sessions, and other destinations as required. Communicate effectively with clients and staff, providing a supportive and respectful environment during transportation. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients during transportation, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Report any issues or concerns related to transportation to the supervisor promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles Provide excellent customer service to passengers Assist with various tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record No previous/current DUIs on driving record. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed Compassionate and patient demeanor, especially when dealing with individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
