This Manager position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of package pickup and delivery services within a singular FedEx Ground terminal for 21 Logistics Inc. The Business Contact will have a strong daily presence at the FedEx Ground terminal, as well as build and maintain strong, positive working relationships with all FedEx Employees.

Pay :

$60,000/year

Work Schedule :

5-6 days a week including one weekend day

•This is not a Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM position. It will require some long-hour days and occasional weekend work, but it will also be flexible with your schedule when circumstances allow it. We prefer FedEx Manager or BC experience, but are willing to consider UPS, Amazon, DHI, etc.

MANAGER DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS

Responsible for ensuring all daily P&D routes are staffed, trucks are operational, and the routes are generating sufficient revenue Responsible for recording and reporting timesheets for payroll Develop and maintain a relationship with a reputable and affordable vendor to perform maintenance and repairs Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs on equipment at regular intervals to avoid unnecessary breakdowns Responsible for the training of every new driver to ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations Responsible for ensuring driver is compliant with daily duties regarding paperwork, Hours of Service compliant, Pre-Trip/Post-Trip Inspections Creates a culture of safety and ensuring each driver is up to date on all monthly safety training Coordinates with FedEx ground staff in order to execute a plan that minimizes the profitability of the company Responsible for ensuring we are providing quality service to FedEx Ground with available drivers and operable equipment to pick up and deliver packages Responsible for managing budget and expenses for a designated terminal/location Works closely with Fleet Manager to ensure the fleet is operating and maintenance is routinely performed on all trucks Responsible for performance management of all drivers assigned to terminal/location Physically willing, ready, and able to drive a P-1000 sized vehicle and safely pick up and deliver packages to both residential and commercial recipients in the event of lead driver being out or any other unforeseen circumstances Excellent contingency planner Establishing relationships with part-time drivers as well as other FedEx contractors in the building to help one another out in times of need

MANAGER REQUIREMENTS

You will need to go through a background/MVR check Must be able to pass a drug test and dot physical Prior management experience and/or a college degree is a must. One year of driving experience over the last 3 years or five year's experience over the last ten years- Clean motor vehicle record Must be over 21 and have No felonies/violent misdemeanors or drug-related misdemeanors in the last ten years
