Home Appliance Installation or similar [Installation Savy] Fleet Management / Routing, Truck Maintenance Ability to Drive 26 FT Box Tuck / Training, Developing, and Coaching Computer Savvy / Microsoft Suite, Email Communication Role Overview As a Driver Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing daily delivery operations. You'll oversee the assignment of routes, support the supervision of drivers and technicians, and maintain operational efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Route and Schedule Management:
Ensure all daily routes are assigned efficiently and verify route documentation before dispatch.
Operational Support:
Implement tasks, prepare reports, and assist with daily operations as needed, following direction from the General Manager.
Performance Oversight:
Monitor and coach technicians to achieve peak performance and meet service goals.
Recruitment and Retention:
Communicate recruitment needs, participate in the hiring process, and foster a culture that prioritizes excellent customer service and respect.
Supervision and Mentorship:
Assist with supervising technicians, observing their performance, and providing constructive feedback.
Safety and Compliance:
Promote dock safety, ensure technicians adhere to safety standards, and maintain compliance with all regulations, including DOT and OSHA.
Customer Relations:
Assist in managing customer escalations to resolve issues efficiently and maintain customer satisfaction.
Maintenance Coordination:
Oversee vehicle fuel needs and preventative maintenance; regularly inspect vehicles for proper care and usage.
Quality Control:
Supervise the loading of trucks to prevent damage, ensure proper freight pulls, and maintain safe working practices.
Metrics and Reporting:
Track technician goals and performance metrics, document service failures, and develop improvement plans.
Uniform and Compliance Enforcement:
Ensure all technicians adhere to uniform standards and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills Experience:
Minimum 3 years in Operations, Logistics Management, or Transportation.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the home appliance industry, including installation and servicing.
Work Schedule:
Ability to work a flexible 6-day schedule as needed.
Communication and Time Management:
Excellent skills in both areas, with a keen attention to detail.
Leadership and Development:
Proven success in developing and managing a team, fostering a service-oriented culture.
Language Skills:
Preferred fluency in Spanish.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Expertise in DOT regulations and commercial vehicle compliance.
Vehicle and Driver Management:

$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
