We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Tow Truck Driver Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic team, where you'll play a key role in optimizing our operations and elevating our service excellence.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily towing operations, ensuring efficient dispatch and deployment of tow trucks and personnel. Monitor and analyze towing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement policies and procedures for towing operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth and timely towing services.
Staff Management:
Hire, train, and supervise tow truck drivers. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback. Address employee issues and ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Equipment Management:
Maintain and repair tow trucks and equipment, ensuring they are in safe and operational condition. Manage inventory of towing equipment and supplies. Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance and repairs.
Customer Relations:
Address customer inquiries and complaints regarding towing services. Ensure customer satisfaction with towing services. Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and training for towing personnel. Investigate accidents and incidents, taking appropriate corrective action.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Several years of experience in towing operations, with supervisory or management experience required.
Skills:
Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Knowledge of towing regulations and safety standards. Familiarity with towing equipment and vehicles. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver's license and ability to operate tow trucks. Clean 10 year MVR. Reside in a reasonable area near our location. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
