Job Description
Overview Oak & Anchor Roofing is a family-owned, GAF certified roofing contractor serving the Treasure Coast. We do our work the right way and look after our crews. If you're dependable and don't mind hard work, we want to talk to you. You'll be on our tear-off crew. The crew strips old roofs down to the deck and gets them dried in so the install crew can take over. Duties Crew Lead and Supervisor Tear off old Shingle, Tile, Metal, and Flat Roof Systems. Install underlayment, and flashing. Load debris into dumpsters and trailers, and keep the site clean Inspect the decking and replace rotted decking Renail decking with 8D nails to code Install underlayment and secure the roof against weather passing code and inspections Run magnets and do a full cleanup at the end of each job Drive truck to and from Job sites and making dump runs throughout jobs. Material Pick up if extra material is needed during dry in Enforce all safety rules, including fall protection and PPE Preferred Experience Able to work on roofs, at heights, in Florida heat Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders all day Show up on time, every day Reliable transportation to the shop or job sites experience driving heavy trucks and trailers Basic English and Spanish Requirements Roofing Tear off and Dry-In Experience Valid Florida driver's license Clean driving record Hauling/Trailering experience Ability to lift 50+ pounds Comfortable working at heights Strong problem-solving skills Leadership mentality Professional appearance and attitude Smartphone for photos and communication Authorized to work in the United States What Makes Oak & Anchor Different We're building a company where craftsmanship comes before shortcuts.
