Job Description

Position summary Manages daily contract performance and serves as the contractor representative authorized to act on operational contract matters. Ensures the fleet remains safe, serviceable, and above the required mission-capable level. Essential duties Direct daily vehicle maintenance, customer service, fleet management, vehicle operations, and MRAP support. Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer, COR, contract administrator, and supported unit. Remain available during normal duty hours and meet Government representatives within one hour of notification. Assign priorities based on mission essential levels, RED priorities, training schedules, and maintenance backlogs. Review weekly and monthly mission-capable reports, written analyses, staffing, training records, and corrective actions. Ensure ELMS and IMDS records, parts documentation, inventories, quality records, and required reports are accurate and timely. Manage employee onboarding, base access, licenses, training, uniforms, safety compliance, and performance. Serve as Vehicle Control Officer and attend required meetings and briefings. Minimum requirements At least five years of vehicle maintenance or fleet-management experience, including leadership responsibility. Demonstrated experience managing a mixed fleet of light, medium, heavy, construction, or tactical vehicles. Working knowledge of
AFI 24-302, TO
36-1-191, ELMS, IMDS, work-order control, and fleet readiness reporting, or the ability to complete required Government training. Valid driver license and ability to obtain required installation access and suitability approval. Strong written reporting, scheduling, customer service, and Government contract communication skills. Authority from Affordable Mechanix LLC to make daily operational decisions. Pay:
