Job Summary:
We are looking for a crew leader. This job requires a willingness and ability to learn the Trade with the potential to advance within the company. Our work falls within the "Specialty Construction Division". Atlas will provide all industry specific training and certifications. Previous industry experience is not required. Our structured work schedule will have you home early most days and also enjoy your weekends off, unless you volunteer to work on a Sat. No Sunday work ever. Initially Required Skills and Experience Safety Oriented - Ability to understand and implement OSHA and ATLAS company safety requirements. (All OSHA Training Paid / Provided by: Atlas) Active Listening and Learning. The ability to comprehend and learn moderate technical aspects of the Steel Foundation Industry. (All Training / Certifications Paid for / Provided by: Atlas) Ability to learn the specifics of the industry and demonstrate the ability to advance within the company to a foreman position. Valid Driver's license with reasonably clean driving history. Experience and / or Ability to learn to Safely Drive a 3500 series Truck with Flatbed Trailer is a Plus. (All Training Paid for / Provided by: Atlas) Team player - Possess a positive attitude and be able to work well with others. Demonstrate Integrity, Honesty and Pride of Workmanship. Motivation and Sense of Urgency - Highly driven personality to focus on getting the job done efficiently. Able to fully be present during the work hours with no outside distractions. Good written and verbal communication and basic math skills. Organized, Detailed, and Clean Disposition Demonstrate Consistent Punctuality with Work Attendance. Ability to Learn the basic responsibilities of the position and demonstrate competence within 90 days Accomplish tasks with minimal supervision Ability to learn to safely operate small equipment such as Mini Excavator, Skid Steer, Dingo, and specialty hydraulic equipment (All Training / Certifications Paid / Provided by: Atlas) No Experience Required. All training and certification will be provided by Atlas Piers of Atlanta Additionally, Safety is our top priority, and we are committed to upholding the highest safety standards in everything we do. From planning to execution, we ensure that our team, clients, and other trades are protected. Atlas will provide Industry Specific and O.S.H.A. Safe Training.
Compensation:
Competitive and Negotiable, based on our impression of your future ability to help Atlas be successful. First Pay Raise, Upon 90 Day Performance Review. Opportunities for Rapid Advancement into a Foreman position. Opportunities for volunteered additional work / overtime provided most weeks. Production and / or Yearly Bonuses paid. Per Diem and Bonus paid for Out-of-Town Work Paid Vacation / Sick Days after 1 Year of Employment.
