Aspen Waste Systems has the opportunity for you! Aspen Waste Systems of Missouri, Inc. is currently seeking a Driver Supervisor for our St. Louis Area locations . This position is for the following locations: 84 Fairmont City Blvd. Fairmont City, IL Aspen Waste Systems of Missouri, Inc. is a privately-owned company that provides waste and recycling collection services for commercial and residential customers in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Salary Range :
$80,000 - $90,000/year Principal Responsibilities Aspen's Driver Supervisor is responsible for managing route drivers and monitoring daily collection operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coaching and holding drivers accountable for upholding Aspen's high standards for customer service. Promoting a safety-first culture by enforcing Aspen's safety policies and ensuring daily operations are completed safely and responsibly. Ensuring drivers timely report to duty wearing the required uniform and safety gear. Assigning routes and adjusting routes as necessary. Coaching drivers on topics including safety procedures, OSHA and DOT compliance, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, performance management, disciplinary action, vacation requests, and payroll/time sheet approvals. Screening and interviewing applicants for open driving positions. Communicating promptly with other members of management, drivers, and dispatch regarding job assignments, safety concerns, route disruptions, and maintenance needs, as well as other matters. Conducting accident investigations and completing incident reports. Conducting walkthroughs and inspections. Overseeing the training program for new drivers. Performing regular Ride alongs with drivers to evaluate performance and identify coaching opportunities, while fostering employee engagement and morale. Perform other job-related duties Qualifications and Skills Awareness and knowledge of DOT regulation Fleet safety and defensive driving knowledge Excellent communication skills Previous industry experience preferred Able to use Microsoft Office and Excel Multi-tasking, and time management 2 years minimum in a prior management/supervisor role, preferably in a route-based business 2-3 years driving with CDL class B license Safe driving record Familiar with the Area Aspen Waste Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
