Job Description

DPI Staffing is seeking an experienced Field Crew Lead for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Brooks, OR, overseeing crews working on wireless cell towers, structural steel, and other construction projects.

Monday-Friday, full-time; schedule may vary based on project needs. Overtime available/required as needed; travel and extended stays may be required.
Pay:
$35.00-$45.00/hr (DOE) Key Responsibilities 1. Lead and supervise field crews during tower erection, structural assembly, welding, rigging, hoisting, and installation 2. Coordinate daily assignments, materials, equipment, and project schedules 3. Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, site plans, and scopes of work 4. Ensure work meets project specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements 5. Enforce OSHA, company, and jobsite safety requirements, including fall protection and PPE 6. Conduct daily safety and equipment inspections and stop work when unsafe conditions exist 7. Coordinate with Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, and field personnel on project progress and site issues 8. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, photos, inspections, time sheets, and closeout documents 9. Operate and oversee the safe use of cranes, hoists, forklifts, man-lifts, vehicles, and other construction equipment 10. Monitor job progress, productivity, quality, and project milestones 11. Train and mentor crew members while leading by example 12. Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and job site cleanliness 13. Identify project issues and assist with solutions to keep work on schedule and within budget Requirements 1. 3+ years of construction experience required; telecommunications experience preferred 2. Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred 3. Experience with rigging, hoisting, tower construction, structural steel, or welding 4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and welding symbols 5. Knowledge of
AWS D1.1
structural welding standards preferred 6. Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements 7. OSHA 30 certification preferred 8. Tower Climbing/Rescue and Train-the-Trainer certifications preferred 9. Forklift and man-lift certification preferred 10. Valid driver's license with a good driving record required 11. Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills 12. Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and Excel 13. Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines 14. Able to travel and work away from home for extended periods as required 15. Able to work at heights, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions 16. Able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, reach, push, pull, and stand/walk for extended periods 17. Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work up to 12-hour days when required 18.
