Summary Axcess Industries is looking for an experienced Industrial Crew Lead (Working Foreman) to join our growing team. This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced industrial tradesperson who wants to continue working in the field while leading a crew.

Our Crew Leads are not office-based supervisors — they are skilled craftsmen who work alongside their team to complete industrial projects safely, efficiently, and professionally. You will lead crews on equipment installations, machinery relocations, plant shutdowns, maintenance projects, and industrial construction assignments throughout the United States. Axcess pays 100% of employee Dental and Vision Insurance! What You'll Do Lead and work alongside a crew on industrial construction, maintenance, and installation projects. Plan daily job activities, assign tasks, and ensure projects stay on schedule. Install, dismantle, relocate, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Perform mechanical work including rigging, alignment, equipment setting, welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics. Assist with plant shutdowns, equipment moves, facility upgrades, and industrial maintenance projects. Train and mentor apprentices and team members through hands-on instruction. Promote a strong safety culture by following OSHA requirements and Axcess safety standards. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices are followed on every job site. Communicate with Project Managers, customers, and crew members to keep projects moving forward. Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and job sites in a professional manner. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Working Foreman, Industrial Crew Lead, Lead Millwright, Millwright Foreman, Industrial Mechanic, or similar leadership role. Experience leading a crew while actively performing skilled trade work.

Strong industrial mechanical background including:

Machinery installation Equipment relocation Rigging Welding/fabrication Preventative maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job right the first time. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30% of the year, including overnight travel and extended assignments.
