Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic landscape team as a Crew Leader, Landscape, where you will lead and inspire a team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and outdoor project management. As a Crew Leader, you'll oversee daily operations on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality work while fostering a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive the success of outdoor beautification efforts, from lawn care to hardscape installation, making a visible impact in the community. Duties Manage crew members by assigning tasks efficiently, providing guidance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during outdoor work. Oversee irrigation management and installation to ensure proper watering systems are functioning effectively across projects. Lead hardscape projects such as patio installations, walkways, retaining walls, pergolas and other outdoor structures with precision and attention to detail. Install various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance; troubleshoot horticultural issues proactively. Install new sprinkler system as well as trouble shooting and sprinkler repairs. Maintain clear communication with clients and team members regarding project progress, timelines, and any adjustments needed for construction projects. Qualifications Supervising experience with crew management and team leadership skills. Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely; familiarity with hardscape construction is a plus. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required; clean driving record preferred. Excellent leadership skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards in outdoor environments.
