Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 Goleta, CA 12-month contract Pay range: $32.00-$38.00/hr BOE. Must be US Citizen Sorry, NO C2C or third-party resumes! Our client is looking for a Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 to support our Shipping/Receiving department. As a member of our client's organization, you will work in an exciting fast paced environment for a company that is on the cutting edge of the aerospace industry. This position will serve on-site at Goleta, CA. Responsibilities Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties, may work out of a central warehouse. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules, and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipments. Unpacks and packs or unwraps and wrap items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications, logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents. Reports materials shipped and bills of lading, posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations. Basic Qualifications for Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 2-5 years' experience in shipping/receiving Ability to work as part of a team This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen Ability to multitask and be detailed Demonstrated ability to use basic manual tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications for Shipping Receiving Coordinator 2 Forklift experience/certification Hazardous material certification/experience DOT and IATA certifications
