Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse & Inventory Control Lead, where your expertise will drive efficiency and accuracy in our warehouse operations. The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate daily warehouse operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and material control processes. This position leads warehouse activities including receiving, storage, shipping, material movement, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and ERP inventory accuracy. The role works closely with Warehouse Team Leader, Inventory Control, Production, and Quality teams to ensure efficient operations, inventory integrity, and compliance with company procedures and safety requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate daily warehouse activities including the materials staging of the jobs for production, stoking of materials, receiving, warehousing, & shipping. Lead and support daily cycle count activities and inventory verification processes. Maintain accurate inventory records and process inventory adjustments as required Investigate inventory discrepancies and support reconciliation activities. Report inventory shortages, overages, damaged products, and inventory variances. Ensure warehouse locations and inventory quantities accurately match ERP records. Monitor proper material identification, labeling, storage, and segregation according to SOPs and Work Instructions. Oversee warehouse associates by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and providing feedback to management. Support physical inventories and inventory audits. Track expired, damaged, or obsolete materials and coordinate disposition activities. Prepare inventory reports, logs, reconciliation documentation, and operational records. Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments. Safely operate forklifts and/or stand-up lift truck, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment. Assist with inventory-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate process improvement opportunities and support corrective actions. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification is preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to read, interpret, and follow written procedures and documentation in English. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems preferred. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication and leadership skills. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. Minimum three years of warehouse, inventory control, or material handling experience preferred. Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred. Manufacturing environment experience preferred. Work Environment The work environment includes warehouse, manufacturing, and office areas. Employees may be exposed to forklift traffic, warehouse equipment, inventory storage areas, operational noise, and manufacturing activity. Compliance with all safety policies, PPE requirements, quality standards, and inventory control procedures is required.
Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
