Position Summary The Workflow Coordinator manages the daily movement of orders through our warehouse. This person assigns work to pickers, monitors progress across multiple sales channels, organizes completed picks, and communicates with processing teams so orders move efficiently from picking through completion. The right candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in Excel and warehouse management systems, and able to manage several priorities at the same time without losing accuracy or follow-through. Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily picking workflows across RCT, Walmart, and other order channels.
  • Assign pickers their daily work based on order priority, workload, staffing, and operational deadlines.
  • Monitor open picks and order status throughout the day, adjusting assignments as priorities change.
  • Research inventory and location information in the warehouse management system to help resolve picking issues and keep orders moving.
  • Verify that picks are accurate and complete before releasing orders to the processing team.
  • Organize picked merchandise by order, channel, and processing priority so products are easy to identify and work.
  • Notify processors when orders are ready and provide clear information about priorities, missing items, exceptions, or special handling needs.
  • Use Excel to track workflow, organize operational data, identify outstanding work, and report on progress and performance.
  • Monitor picker productivity and accuracy, identify problems, and communicate concerns to warehouse leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure orders do not become delayed, misplaced, or overlooked.
  • Balance multiple active responsibilities, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive issues in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Provide hands-on support with picking, processing, and other warehouse tasks when needed. Required Qualifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, filtering, sorting, lookups, tables, and working confidently with large sets of operational data.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory location processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once, prioritize changing demands, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to direct daily work across multiple team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies independently.
  • Dependable follow-through and a strong sense of ownership over assigned workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively in an active warehouse environment and assist with physical warehouse work as needed. What Success Looks Like
  • Pickers consistently know what to work on and in what order.
  • Completed picks are organized, accurate, and clearly handed off to processors.
  • Order issues are identified early, researched, communicated, and followed through to resolution.
  • Workflow data is accurate and leadership has clear visibility into progress and outstanding work.
  • Multiple order channels continue moving even when priorities or staffing change during the day.
Ideal Candidate You are the person who keeps work organized when several things are happening at once. You are comfortable directing others, working in spreadsheets, researching information in a WMS, and following an order from assignment through handoff. You notice what is missing, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for keeping the workflow moving.
