We are seeking an experienced Paint Yard Foreman to oversee a small crew performing industrial blasting and painting operations. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for keeping the crew productive, maintaining quality standards, and communicating daily needs with the General Superintendent. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial blasting and painting and be comfortable supervising employees while also working alongside the crew as needed. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a small blasting and painting crew Work closely with the General Superintendent to communicate job progress, priorities, and any issues affecting production Communicate equipment, material, and consumable needs to ensure the crew has what is needed to complete work efficiently Inspect blasted surfaces prior to painting to ensure proper surface preparation and readiness for coating Monitor painting and coating work for quality and proper application Assign daily work and provide direction to crew members Help keep jobs on schedule and communicate delays or concerns Ensure equipment and tools are being properly used and maintained Maintain an organized and productive paint yard Promote and enforce company safety policies and safe work practices Address crew performance or jobsite concerns with the General Superintendent Assist the crew with blasting, painting, and other duties as needed Qualifications Previous industrial blasting and/or painting experience required Previous foreman, lead, or supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coating applications Ability to inspect blasted surfaces and identify areas requiring additional preparation Ability to lead and work effectively with a small crew Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to communicate equipment, material, and consumable needs before they impact production Dependable and able to work with limited supervision Safety-minded with attention to quality and detail
Pay:
$28.00 per hour
