Job Description

Warehouse Lead Monday-Friday 8:00pm-4:30am Pay is $25/hour to start, temp to perm Position Summary The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, quality, and process compliance. This position provides frontline leadership to warehouse associates, coordinates workflow, supports training efforts, and serves as the first point of contact for operational issues during the shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operational Leadership Communicate daily priorities, expectations, and operational updates. Support supervisors in achieving productivity, quality, and service targets. Safety and Compliance Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures. Conduct routine safety observations and report hazards immediately. Ensure proper use of PPE and safe equipment operation. Quality and Process Control Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures. Verify accurate product handling, labeling, staging, and shipment preparation. Conduct quality checks and identify process deviations. Assist with inventory control, audits, and cycle counts. Training and Development Reinforce operational standards and best practices. Assist management with cross-training initiatives. Equipment and Material Handling Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and warehouse equipment as certified. Ensure equipment inspections are completed before use. Report maintenance issues and equipment concerns promptly. Communication and Documentation Maintain accurate records of operational activities. Escalate staffing, inventory, safety, or quality concerns to management. Participate in shift meetings and communicate performance expectations. Support completion of operational reports and documentation. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
