WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
Schedule:

5:00 p.m. until completion
Salary:
$65,000 annually plus bonuses Experience Needed Warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or third-party logistics (3PL) Order selection Pallet jack operation Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience Position Overview A third-party logistics provider is seeking a driven, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead evening warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have two to five years of progressively responsible leadership experience within warehousing, logistics, supply chain, distribution, transportation, or a 3PL environment. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily operations, lead and develop associates, support customer relationships, and ensure safety, service, productivity, and financial expectations are consistently achieved. The successful candidate may be responsible for managing a portion of the operation or an entire shift. This individual will also train new employees and help create a team-centered environment built on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse operations with safety, service, quality, and efficiency as top priorities. Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse associates. Schedule associate shifts according to customer volume and operational requirements. Monitor order selection and material-handling activities. Ensure customer expectations and service requirements are met each day. Document and resolve customer service and employee-related issues promptly. Enforce company policies, operating procedures, and safety requirements. Conduct weekly safety meetings and encourage employee participation. Interview, hire, onboard, and train new associates. Prepare daily work logs and submit required operational reports. Audit daily labor, payroll, billing, and productivity reports for accuracy. Supervise timely and accurate data entry for all services performed. Assist with site and departmental budget management. Review operating results and support achievement of financial goals. Negotiate rates with common-carrier representatives when required. Prepare and balance daily bank deposits when applicable. Complete daily closeout procedures, including cash balancing, data uploads, and payroll record administration. Communicate effectively with customers, employees, site leadership, and corporate support teams. Qualifications At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Experience supervising warehouse employees, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and corrective action. Knowledge of order selection and pallet jack operations. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to motivate employees while maintaining clear performance expectations and accountability. Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Sound judgment and the ability to make effective operational decisions. Experience managing budgets, reviewing profit-and-loss statements, and preparing management reports. Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong numerical aptitude and the ability to calculate or estimate rates while managing multiple priorities. Bachelor's or associate degree is preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered.
