Shipping & Receiving Lead Benefits & Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and company-recognized holidays Supportive culture with opportunities for professional growth Shipping & Receiving Lead Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of relevant shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience, including team leadership Direct experience in the food or consumer packaged goods industry preferred Forklift certification or willingness to obtain High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree a plus Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Proven ability to analyze data, address discrepancies, and manage priorities Shipping & Receiving Lead Preferred Background & Skills Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP software Background in demand planning or forecasting Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis Shipping & Receiving Lead Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, coordinating all inbound and outbound activities Lead, train, and schedule the shipping/receiving team for efficient workflow Inspect shipments for accuracy, quality, and potential damage Maintain and update accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system Coordinate with carriers, logistics providers, and production teams to ensure timely pickups, deliveries, and operational continuity Investigate and resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies, ensuring adherence to safety standards and procedures Support physical inventory and cycle count processes Communicate regularly with supply chain and warehouse leadership regarding shipment status, space utilization, and operational needs Ready to step into a leadership role where your expertise truly matters?
