Driver Onboarding & Yard Coordinator (CDL)

Pay:

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour | Full-Time |

1001 Baker Dr, Monroe, OH 45050 ═══════════════════════════════════════ About the Role ═══════════════════════════════════════ We are hiring a CDL-licensed Coordinator to manage driver intake and onboarding at our Monroe, OH terminal. The role combines yard-side driver evaluation with administrative onboarding. ═══════════════════════════════════════ Schedule ═══════════════════════════════════════ 5/2 schedule 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM On-site ═══════════════════════════════════════ Yard & Driver Intake ═══════════════════════════════════════ Welcome drivers and collect required documents (CDL, medical card) Verify PTI knowledge, trailer connection, and backing-up skills Assist drivers with required company app installation Monitor yard equipment inventory and report shortages Coordinate with maintenance on damaged equipment Support the Yard Manager with daily operations ═══════════════════════════════════════ Orientation & Equipment Coordination ═══════════════════════════════════════ Prepare onboarding documents and assign trucks in the TMS Activate fuel cards, PrePass, Samsara, and driver accounts Conduct orientation; explain company policies, DOT regulations, permits, insurance, bonuses, and escrow Ensure all contracts are signed correctly Manage equipment inventory (ELDs, tablets, permit books, transponders, decals) Coordinate with Safety and Fleet on documentation Handle company mail, plates, and operational supplies ═══════════════════════════════════════ Requirements ═══════════════════════════════════════ Valid CDL (Class A preferred) Strong organizational and communication skills Attention to detail with documentation Basic computer skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Must pass DOT physical and drug screen ═══════════════════════════════════════ How to Apply ═══════════════════════════════════════ Apply through Indeed with your resume.
