Job Description

We have an immediate opening on our Distribution team as a Terminal Operator.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviews daily truck and railcar delivery and shipping schedule to be aware of workday's logistics activities. Processes shipments of incoming and outgoing chemicals safely and accurately. Completes railcar and daily inventory log sheet accurately and timely. Performs minor maintenance repairs and housekeeping duties in the plant as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge of standard office procedures General knowledge of chemistry principles, preferred. Effective organizational skills to ensure an orderly and safe workplace General knowledge of protocol to safely load and unload chemicals from various forms of transportation methods (rail, truck, ISO containers, etc.). Ability to learn HAZCOM handling procedures. Strong commitment and ability to practice required health and safety practices and precautions using chemical production equipment. Ability to read, interpret, and execute written instructions. Attentive listening skills to carry out verbal instructions accurately and precisely. Ability to learn and operate laboratory equipment to obtain accurate result. Ability to understand and perform mathematical calculations. Computer skills and abiltiy to learn Smartsheets, excel, and inventory management system Ability to work independently and as part of a team

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
