In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure efficient inventory control, and foster an efficient, productive environment. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize logistics workflows, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Supervise warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory maintenance to ensure timely and accurate operations. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication and fostering a collaborative environment. Oversee inventory management processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners. Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline workflows. Operate or coordinate the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and delivery fleet safely and effectively. Manage logistics coordination for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong background in distribution center management or warehouse supervision. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in inventory control systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and RF scanners. Knowledge of materials handling equipment operation including forklifts and heavy lifting techniques. Familiarity with logistics processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and lean management practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively manage teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards.
