Position:

Shipping Foreman NPCC is seeking reliable, diligent professionals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence to join its production team.

Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, the Shipping Foreman is responsible for overseeing and safely executing shipping operations. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure that all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
• Safely operate a front-end loader.
• Safely operate a forklift.
• Perform required pre-trip inspections of the front-end loader and forklift.
• Assist with shipping department operations, including grouting, painting, stenciling, and securing loads.
• Provide leadership and direction to support the timely completion of daily departmental responsibilities.
• Coordinate and perform the loading of inbound and outbound trailers.

Qualifications, Education & Required Skills :

• Demonstrated record of reliable attendance and a consistently professional demeanor.

• Demonstrated integrity and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
• Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills when engaging with managers, colleagues, and customers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Successful completion of certification testing for operation of a front-end loader.
• Successful completion of certification testing for operation of a forklift.
• Successful completion of all mandatory safety training.
• Successful completion of all required department-specific training.
• Successful completion of required training in rigging and handling inspection procedures.
• Working knowledge of the safe and proper use of basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately to within 1/16 inch.
• Ability to bend, climb, and lift objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to perform assigned duties in hot, cold, and wet environmental conditions.
• Availability to work overtime as operational requirements dictate.
• Commitment to strict compliance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Availability :

• Must be available to work overtime as operational needs require.
• Must be available to work weekends when required to meet production demands.

Schedule :

• Regularly scheduled day shift.
• Standard workweek of Monday through Friday.
• Weekend work may be required to accommodate production demands.

Additional Information :

• Job duties, work schedules, and compensation are subject to modification in accordance with NPCC's operational requirements.

At management's discretion, employees may be temporarily assigned or permanently transferred to another department when necessary to support production needs.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
