Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the movement of steel products used in HVAC systems, ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will play a key part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supporting the manufacturing and distribution of high-quality steel components. Duties Receive incoming shipments of steel products, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage or discrepancies. Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate labeling, packaging, and documentation. Maintain organized storage of steel materials to facilitate easy access and inventory management. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy. Collaborate with production and logistics teams to coordinate timely shipping and receiving activities. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Keep detailed records of shipments, receipts, and inventory movements using warehouse management systems. Skills Strong attention to detail for verifying shipments and maintaining accurate records. Ability to operate warehouse machinery safely and effectively. Good organizational skills to manage storage areas and inventory documentation. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and perform manual handling tasks regularly. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management systems. Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required. Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
