Job Description

Big Bear Electric, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery / Shop / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on position that plays an important role in supporting our electricians in the field and our operations team in the office. Responsibilities include making deliveries to job sites throughout Southern California, receiving and organizing materials, maintaining the shop and warehouse, and assisting with a variety of day-to-day operational needs. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, safety-conscious, and able to adapt as priorities change throughout the day. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently, driving regularly, and jumping in wherever needed to help keep our projects and shop running smoothly. Responsibilities Make timely and accurate deliveries to job sites throughout Southern California Pick up materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors and other locations Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Receive incoming deliveries and verify materials received Collect, organize, and turn in packing slips and other project-related delivery documentation Keep the warehouse, shop, and storage areas clean and organized Help organize and maintain tools, materials, and equipment Assist with preparing materials and equipment for upcoming jobs Assist with general shop and warehouse duties as needed Communicate effectively with field employees, office staff, vendors, and suppliers Safely operate company vehicles and equipment Perform other duties as assigned based on daily operational needs Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to safely load, unload, lift, and move construction materials and equipment Comfortable driving throughout Southern California Ability to follow instructions and adjust to changing priorities Previous warehouse, construction, electrical, or delivery experience is a plus Forklift experience is a plus Experience towing trailers is a plus Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is a plus What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in being dependable and helpful. You don't need to know everything on day one, but you should be willing to learn, take initiative, communicate well, and understand that getting the right materials and equipment to our crews on time is an important part of keeping our projects running successfully. $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
