Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our prestress and precast concrete production team. This role supports the manufacturing of high-quality concrete components (i.e. bridge beams, pilings, wall panels and barriers) by assisting with form preparation, concrete placement, finishing, and general plant operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Experience is not required. We simply require a willingness to learn and a commitment to effort.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in setting up and stripping concrete forms for precast and prestressed products Support the placement, finishing, and curing of concrete Handle and place reinforcing steel, strands, and other materials as directed Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions to meet deadlines Assist with loading/unloading materials and finished products Perform quality checks and report defects or inconsistencies Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in construction, concrete work, or manufacturing is a plus but not required Ability to read basic measurements and follow instructions Strong work ethic and dependability Ability to work well in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Frequent standing and working on your feet Ability to work in outdoor or non-climate-controlled environments Tolerance for dust, noise, and varying weather conditions

Work Environment:

Industrial prestress/precast concrete plant setting Exposure to heavy machinery, concrete materials, and moving equipment Fast-paced, production-driven environment

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting pay $18/hr. Base pay increase to $20/hr once proven after 90 days Overtime is guaranteed. On average of 60 hours/week Paid time off for specific holidays Due to the equipment and tools used to perform the job duties - applicants must be at least 18 years old.
