BREAKDOWN & SORT/GENERAL LABOR
-Brooksville Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Breakdown/Sort General Laborer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in sorting and disassembling computers and electronics and ensuring the proper recycling and repurposing of materials. This position involves heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis, as well as the use of basic hand tools.Responsibilities:
Sort and disassemble consumer electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, etc.Identify and separate parts for scrap or reuse.
Shredding of plastics and more.
Operate basic hand tools and equipment for disassembly.
Ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
Cleaning, sweeping, organizing and maintaining the workspaces as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.Ability to walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the entire shift.
Ability to work in and around industrial shredders and other equipment.
Comfortable working in a hot environment.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Willingness to undergo drug and background screening.
