Job Description The General Laborer supports a Field Technician with the installation and repair of speed cameras at various school locations throughout Broward County. This role involves hands-on work such as transporting materials from a warehouse, using basic hand and power tools, digging, and performing a variety of physical tasks in outdoor environments. Responsibilities

• Assist the Field Technician with repairing and installing speed cameras at schools across Broward County.
• Pick up and transport materials and equipment from the warehouse in Davie to job sites as needed.
• Use basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support installation and repair activities.
• Dig holes and trenches with a shovel to prepare sites for equipment installation.
• Lift and carry poles, cabinets, and other materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Operate a hand truck to move equipment and materials around the worksite.
• Work on ladders to remove and handle electronic components and related hardware.
• Perform overhead work, including lifting and securing components above shoulder height.
• Support general labor tasks such as site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on site.
• Travel frequently between different school locations and the warehouse, spending approximately 75% of the time on the road.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members to ensure safe and efficient work.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned to support field operations.
