Pay :
$23.69 per hour
Shift :
1st Shift, 6AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Thursday (Overtime possible on Friday, rarely on the weekend.)
Job Details:
Work is not closely supervised. Maintains a safe work environment. Details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following: Receives, checks, assigns locations, stores and/or delivers material, parts and tools throughout the factory. Operates power driven equipment such as automobiles, trucks, tractors, industrial trucks, etc. to move all types of material, parts, mail, personnel and/or equipment. Operates, hoists, automatic storage/retrieval systems, etc. to load, unload, move, store, and/or deliver material, tools and/or parts. Prepares parts for shipment including picking, packing, verifying quantity, applying shipping labels, completing paperwork, weighing and transporting to loading area and/or loading truck. May build crates or boxes for shipping. Prepares production setup kits, perishable tooling and/or mounts and changes universal tooling per written instructions for production and machine tool operations. Sorts, checks, counts, and/or expedites material, parts and/or tools used in the factory. Receives, identifies, checks for accuracy, determines disposition and/or stores goods returned from dealers, branches and/or customers. Handles cleaning supplies, coolants, fuels, etc. in performance of job. Keeps all necessary and required records for work being performed. Performs other miscellaneous tasks to support other team members. Moves and positions loads. Cleans work area and performs other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.
Types of Machines, Tools and Equipment Used or Operated:
Varies by specific duties.
Includes but not limited to:
automobiles, trucks, forklifts, automatic storage/retrieval systems, and tuggers. Simple gages and checking equipment, production tool sets and universal tooling; computer terminal recording equipment, hand and power trucks and transporters, hoists and conveyors, various hand and power tools.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up-to 35lbs repeatedly Standing for long periods of time Bending/Stooping/Walking/kneeling, etc. Required Safety Equipment Metatarsal boots, gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses, and face shield.
Required Skills:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent or 1-3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment A valid driver's license Good attendance Ability to use basic math to analyze information and measuring equipment Basic computer skills Ability to work safely and efficiently Ability to work with close tolerances Ability to work in a team and independently Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction and written processes What Happens Next?
