In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling operations to ensure smooth and safe warehouse functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, including the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes, and demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards. Duties Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using appropriate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and forklifts. Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately utilizing RF scanners and manual methods to meet customer specifications. Load outbound shipments efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for heavy lifting and equipment operation. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and proper documentation of stock movements. Operate heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and clamp trucks safely in accordance with OSHA regulations. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment contents against purchase orders and delivery documentation. Support warehouse operations by organizing storage areas, ensuring cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, and inventory management. Proficiency in operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Familiarity with warehouse operations software including RF scanners for order picking and inventory tracking. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety compliance.
