Job Summary Marion Recycling is looking for a dependable, hardworking Yard Worker to help keep our recycling yard running safely and efficiently. This hands-on position involves sorting and moving recyclable materials, assisting with loading and unloading, and keeping the yard clean and organized. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Sort and organize incoming recyclable materials in designated areas. Assist customers and drivers with unloading materials and direct them to the appropriate areas of the yard. Load, unload, and move materials using appropriate equipment when trained and authorized. Help identify and separate materials that are not accepted or require special handling. Prepare and stage recyclable materials for processing or shipment. Keep work areas, traffic lanes, and equipment access points clean and clear. Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Check equipment before use and promptly report hazards, damage, or maintenance needs. Assist with basic material counts, weight records, and receiving or shipping paperwork as needed. Work with the team to complete daily yard tasks. Qualifications Previous experience in recycling, yard work, construction, material handling, or equipment operation is helpful. Forklift or other heavy equipment experience is a plus. Willingness to learn how to identify, sort, and safely handle different recyclable materials. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing or walking for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Dependable attendance, a strong work ethic, and a focus on safety. Ability to follow directions, communicate clearly, and treat customers and coworkers respectfully. Basic math skills for counts, weights, and recordkeeping. Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
