Job Description

We are a growing, family-owned business providing fumigation, heat treatment, and heavy equipment cleaning services in support of international shipping operations. We are looking for a reliable, mechanically skilled individual to join our team and grow with the company. This is not exclusively a mechanic position. Mechanical work will be an important part of the job, but when repairs or maintenance are not needed, this position will assist with the general day-to-day operations of our facility. This position is for someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and willing to help wherever needed. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heavy machinery and equipment Perform preventative maintenance and routine mechanical work Identify mechanical problems and determine necessary repairs or parts Assist with moving, preparing, and cleaning heavy machinery Operate forklifts and other equipment when qualified and authorized Assist with loading, unloading, warehouse organization, and facility maintenance Perform other tasks as needed based on the day-to-day needs of the operation Required Skill set Mechanical experience, particularly with heavy machinery such as forklifts, excavators, wheel loaders, container handlers, agricultural equipment, and heavy trucks Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and general equipment repair is highly preferred Ability to work independently Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious Willingness to take on different responsibilities as needed Interest in a long-term position and growing with the company Excellent organizational skills Opportunity for Growth We are looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of the team and grow alongside the business. Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
