Job Description This is a 1st shift position at our
Hampstead, MD Plant:
The Material Handler sets up the various lanes with cartons and flats based off orders for the day. This is a continuous process all day, restocking the lanes and eliminating jams to keep the line running efficiently.
Work Schedule:
Days - Monday to Friday Hours - 6:20 am to 3:00 pm or until orders are complete
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs changeover when changing from cartons to flats or styrofoam Maintains a clean floor area Watches for jams and corrects them Takes counts depending on how much of an order is remaining Changes dates when needed Performs computer tasks when needed Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have good organizational skills and the ability to handle distractions and manage multiple tasks at the same time Must have good communication skills Basic Computer and Math Skills Must be able to stand 8 hours at a time; reach, bend, and squat; push/pull constantly; and lift 30-60 pounds Company Description Sauder's Eggs has been a family company for 60 years and is built upon the traditions of integrity, product excellence, and fairness.
