The Charlevoix, MI facility is recruiting for 1st shift (6:48am-3:00pm) Material Handler Hi-Lo driver.

FUNCTION

Perform duties to move parts, materials, components to designated areas in plant utilizing forklift. Load and unload material conveyance system and process equipment safely to facilitate production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sequence the delivery of raw material according to needs of operation. Maintain material conveyance and process equipment to facilitate production. Inventory raw material and production output. Responsible for rotating the recycling and scrap containers on production floor. Completes appropriate documentation and computer data entry regarding relocated material. Stack, crush, dispose of, or recycle waste packing material such as cardboard cartons and pallets. Take inventory and complete cycle counting. Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High School Diploma or GED; competency in basic math At least one year experience in similar environment; can operate a forklift, computer skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision
