As a Shipping and Receiving Assistant, you support warehouse operations by unloading and loading trucks, checking deliveries, and entering receipts into inventory systems. You help keep materials organized using FIFO, wrap and label pallets, complete shipping paperwork, and maintain accurate records and cycle counts. The role is hands-on, includes forklift and reach truck operation, and works in varying temperatures with seasonal overtime during busy production periods. Responsibilities Unload and load trucks, verifying quantities and documenting any damage. Receive deliveries into the ERP system and maintain accurate daily records. Prepare and process shipping documents, wrapping and labeling pallets. Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to support stock accuracy. Organize and store materials using FIFO standards and clear pallet labeling. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and straight trucks safely as required. Keep the dock and warehouse areas clean and dispose of materials per procedures. Provide general material handling and production support during peak seasons.
