Full job description It is the responsibility of the saw operator to cut raw material to the required specified length for other departments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive work orders from supervisor or lead person
• Pull correct raw material from racks
• Inventor verification
• Cut pieces to specified length using saws
• Operate multiple saw machines
• Unload steel trucks o Store in designated area o Verify order is correct against packing slip
• Deliver finished material to staging area
• Minor maintenance on equipment o Change saw blades o Change brush o Oil and grease
• This position is not limited to the responsibilities listed above

Job Requirements:

• Fork truck operation
• Hoist, crane and lift cart operation
• Must be able read a tape measure and use squares
• Computer and math knowledge
• Use time management skills and prioritization to accomplish the day's tasks in the hours provided

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Frequent bending, twisting, and squatting
• Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English
• See and hear within reasonably acceptable limits, this includes the ability to see at a distance and peripherally

• Safety Glasses
• Steel Toed Shoes with metatarsal guards
